Free vs. Premium

MTV Play is a freemium app. This means the download is for free and you can watch a selection of episodes without paying, registering or logging in. If you want to see everything, you can unlock access to our full show library & the TV channels with a subscription (monthly/annual, can be terminated each month/year) or a partner subscription. The latter one means, if you’re subscribed to one of our partners, everything in this app is completely for free for you. Our current partners are: MTV Mobile (DE & CH), RiksTV (NO) and get (NO).

To get full access, we offer different kinds of auto-renewing subscriptions:
Premium Pass (monthly): Get full premium access for one month for 2.99 € (CH: 4 CHF, NO: 29 NOK, PL: 1.99€).
Premium Pass (annual): Get full premium access for one year for 29.99 € (CH: 39 CHF, NO: 289 NOK, PL: 19.99 €)

The payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of the purchase. A subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

To manage your subscriptions, please visit your iTunes account settings after the purchase. Here you can turn off the auto renewal for a subscription, so it will run out at the end of the current period. You can’t cancel your currently active subscription during the active subscription period.
